Fraud comes in many shapes and forms. Some frauds are simple (merely changing numbers on a financial statement) while others can be very complex (thousands of purportedly legitimate small transactions between bogus entities). In either case, the perpetration of fraud most commonly results in a financial loss, a loss that is usually felt by more than just one person, company or entity. We assist clients to investigate actual or suspected fraud and obtain evidence to be used later in court. Our professionals have investigated fraud in connection with divorces, bankruptcies, credit fraud, commercial litigation, financial statement reporting, employee theft and in other matters.
